Week 3 T4 Away With Words

Away With Words 

This week for my Chapter Chat I did Away With Words. I tried my best and I  tried to make it an overflowing honey jar I added heaps of detail to make it stand out. I put heaps of color on so that it could pop. 

Overhand Knot

Overhand Knot 

For my knot I did a Overhand Knot and I found it kind of hard but I still did it but the hardest thing was getting the loop. You can use a Overhand Knot for fishing and You could even use it for tying shoe lases. I rate my Overhand Knot 8/10 because I tried hard to get it right and then I eventually got it.

Alpine Butterfly Knot

Alpine Butterfly Knot 

For my knot I did a Alpine Butterfly Knot and I found it hard because I had to keep on going till I got it.  Then one of my friends helped me and then I got it. But I still cant do it with my eyes closed because I always muck it up. I rate my Alpine Butterfly Knot 9/10 because I found it really hard but I still got it in the end. You could put the Alpine Butterfly Knot around your waist then you could you hook a Carabiner onto the Alpine Butterfly Knot then you Could climb a Cliff. 

Figure Eight Knot

Figure Eight Knot

I did a Figure Eight Knot and it was kind of easy but I did still had to learn it and for my Figure Eight Knot I used a piece of rope. I can also do a Figure Eight Knot with my eyes closed and the first time I tried with my eyes closed I found it hard because you had to make sure it had and eight on it. I rate my knot 5/10 because I didn't have to work on it that much but the others I did. You could use a Figure Eight Knot for climbing harnesses when you would go climbing with you friend or yourself. 

Wednesdays Trip

Who went with you: My mum, sister and my two brothers.

Where did you go: We went to Tauranga and in Tauranga we went to this hospital to get his knee done because the banded was coming off.

Why did you go there: We went there because my brother had to get his knee done and we were in the hospital for 40 mins. 

What were you doing: We were going to get my brothers knee redressed. We also had to put on a new band aid. The reason we went there was because 3 years ago he crashed on a motor bike and broke his knee cap so we had to put screws in his knee.

Week 2 T4 Resarch

Chapter Chat Research
This week for my Chapter Chat I did Research. For my Research I did 8 brands of shoes and I  also write down stuff about them. I tried my best to make it and overflowing honey jar and I added some detail to make it pop and stand out. I did 16 squares all together and on 8 of them I put a picture of the brand and then on the other 8 put down stuff about them.

This year for my Calendar art I did me swimming in the ocean. Also that the sun was setting and that a dolphin jumped over my head. I added heaps of color to make it stand out and I also added some other animals like Turtles and stingrays. I added some shells and sewed so that it looks like its under water. For my background that was left over I added some water color to make it look like the sky. I added some bushes and a palm tree so that it makes it pop. I made it look like it had a beach with sand. For me I took a photo of my head then printed it and then I glued it on it the middle of the ocean so it looks like I'm swimming in the water.  

 

Week 1 T4 Digital Design CC

This week for my Chapter Chat I did Digital Design. For my Digital Design I did a business card and a taxi driver and I tried really hard to make it an over flowing honey jar.  I added heaps of detail to make it pop so that it could stand out and I also made it so that it could be two sides.  One side was a taxi driver and the other side it was a business card.

Bathurst 1000

Bathurst 1000 is an event held in Australia and There can be people from NZ and Australia compete. Bathurst 1000 is a big event and it goes on once a year. Also Bathurst 1000 is a racing Car Race and they do 161 big laps and it goes for a very long time. This year of Bathurst 1000 Scott McLaughlin Came first and it was the first time he had one and he is a young man from NZ and he was driving a Ford. In the race they had to refill the gas tanks and change there tyres so that they wouldn't run out. In the last two laps Scott was about to run out of fuel but then a car crashed so they had to slow down and then Scott didn't have to refill his gas tank because he wasn't going as fast. So then the man behind him was gutted because then he couldn't have one because Scott had enough fuel. But after the race Scott McLaughlin was happy and his team was cheering him on. That was my holiday fun and I watched it on the TV with my family.
